What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can place in your browser. Related technologies, such as local storage and session storage, can remember preferences or activity between visits.
What this website uses
The current website uses local storage only to remember your chosen language: English, Spanish, or Haitian Creole. The preference is saved on your device under “amrib.language” and can be changed using the language selector or removed by clearing site data in your browser. It is not used for advertising or tracking.
Choices you make in the enquiry form and slideshow controls are held in the page while it is open; the site does not save those answers or slideshow choices in local storage.
Files such as photographs and styles may be temporarily cached by your browser. Browser caching helps pages load and is different from tracking cookies.
Forms and external services
Submitting an enquiry sends the information you enter to the website’s form service for email delivery. This process does not require a tracking cookie. See the Privacy Policy for information about enquiries.
Phone and email links open your device’s calling or email application. Those applications have their own privacy and storage practices.
Your browser choices
You can use your browser settings to block cookies, remove stored website data, or clear cached files. The current site’s information pages do not depend on cookies. Reloading or leaving the enquiry page may clear answers that have not been sent.
Changes to cookie use
If cookies, analytics, embedded services, or consent tools are introduced, this policy should be updated to explain their purpose and any choices available before those features are enabled.
